"Earlier, about 11 students were immediately rushed to this post. Some suffered burns, blurry vision, and hearing problems," she explained on Friday (11/7).

She mentioned that students with serious injuries had been referred to Cempaka Putih Islamic Hospital, Yarsi Hospital, and Pertamina Hospital.

"Health workers from the local puskesmas also arrived quickly at the scene. The students were examined immediately, and those with severe injuries were taken to the hospital," she added.

Krissensiana said she heard three loud explosions, believed to have come from a speaker and gas canister. Fortunately, no flames were seen during the incident.

"I was shocked because this post is right next to the school. I really hope all students are okay," she shared.

Meanwhile, Kelapa Gading Sub-district Secretary, Suci Cyntia Pola Putri, confirmed the explosion at SMAN 72. According to her, the incident is under investigation by the authorities, and the injured students have been evacuated to receive either inpatient or outpatient care.

"The police are still on-site conducting an investigation. We hope the process goes smoothly," she conveyed.
